Caleb Plant was born to his father Richie Plant, and his mother Beth Plant, as Caleb Hunter Plant on July 8, 1992.

The athlete spends his childhood in his hometown of Ashland City, Tennessee, U.S., and began boxing at the age of nine. In the boxing field, Caleb got the nickname, Sweethands.

The plant was able to escape the poverty, crime, and drug usage that surrounded him in his hometown by being successful in his amateur career.

Richie had worked various jobs and trained in kickboxing to support his family. Caleb was not the only child in the family. The professional boxer has two sisters named Hannah and Madeline.

Beth Plant was suffering from addiction, and Caleb’s family lived in poverty like many others in the area.

The sportsman even found himself distributing narcotics for his mother as a teenager. The athlete’s escape plan was boxing.

Beth was shot by police in March 2019 after brandishing a knife at an officer. Afterward, she passed away at a hospital.
