Where is Colton Lott Family?

Lott, who grew up in Sandy Hook but now resides in Gimli, was also a member of three Manitoba junior men’s championship-winning teams, two of which won national junior crowns and bronze medals at junior worlds.

He’s been around championship-caliber players and teams for years, but in the last year, he’s filled in on a number of different curling teams.

Colton’s parents have two boys, Older Tanner and younger Colton Lott learned to curl together as a young boy growing up in the Winnipeg Beach region. Although three years different in age, they challenged one another and grew from the harmony of brothers and competition, developing a mutual passion for the sport.

And yet, it took them almost ten years to ultimately partner up and compete on the same men’s team. They eventually connected earlier this season, and once they did, they got along immediately. Now, they’re finding early success in the provincial men’s curling tournament at Tundra Oil & Gas Park.

Tanner had been waiting for this to happen for a time, so he is surely happy to have his younger brother back on his side.

Lott’s first curling triumph came while playing third for the Manitoba team at the 2011 Canada Winter Games when they earned a bronze medal.

As an alternate for Team Canada in the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships, Lott was asked to compete.

The winnings from a curling match are often split evenly among all four competitors. The winning team at the 2018 Brier (a national competition in Canada) received $62,000.

Each player does not get a lot of money because the squad only succeeds in one or perhaps two competitions each year. In addition to becoming professional curlers, the majority of curlers also work in the industry. This is because of curling’s inability to “pay the bills”.
