Cooper Noriega, a 19-year-old TikToker user from California, passed away on June 9. He gained notoriety by working with other TikTokers on dance and lip-sync videos for the app.

On social media, he was well-known for talking about his addiction and mental health issues. On June 9, 2022, a 19-year-old TikToker named Cooper Noriega passed away.

According to a Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner representative, Noriega was declared dead in a Burbank, California, parking lot.

The source stated that no cause of death had been disclosed then.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, the social media star died from the “combined effects of alprazolam, fentanyl, and lorazepam.”

Cooper previously admitted to having mental health problems and disclosed on Instagram that he “struggled with addiction” at nine.

Drugs used to treat anxiety and panic disorder include Lorazepam (commonly known as Ativan) and Alprazolam (also known as Xanax).

Synthetic opioid fentanyl is 80–100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more powerful than heroin.

It is unknown if Cooper had been prescribed the drugs he had taken in addition to the fentanyl or whether he was aware he was doing so.

Cooper Noriega, a 19-year-old TikTok celebrity discovered dead in a mall parking lot six months prior, was found to have died from a fatal mix of fentanyl and two anxiety drugs.

According to records from The Blast, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner determined that the social media sensation died due to the “combined effects of alprazolam, fentanyl, and lorazepam.”

Cooper, who has more than 3.2 million TikTok followers, has spoken up about his struggles with mental illness and stated on Instagram that he “struggled with addiction” since the age of nine.

Personal Life Details of Cooper Noriega

Noriega gained notoriety in the L.A. influencer scene and was good friends with Sway House, a TikTok collective that is no longer active.

In his videos, he frequently refers to famous TikToker Nessa Barrett, who has 18 million followers on the app, as a close buddy.

Dexerto claims that in late 2020, the TikToker also started dating Sabrina Quesada, another influencer with 4.2 million TikTok followers.

The couple reportedly parted ways in April 2022, with Quesada telling her followers in a no longer accessible Instagram story that the choice to end the relationship was “mutually made” and that Noriega remained her “best friend.”

Noriega, based in California, joined TikTok in June 2020 and frequently shared videos on the platform where he participated in dance fads. He frequently lip-synced to well-known songs and TikTok noises as well.

According to the social analytics website Social Blade, Noriega reached one million TikTok followers before the end of 2020, and his account currently has 2.8 million followers.

Additionally, he shared videos on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram, gaining a combined following of more than 600,000.

Cooper Noriega Discussed Addiction and Mental Health on Social Media

In an interview with Hollywire, a news YouTube channel located in California, in March 2021, Noriega said that he “started taking medications” when he was still a little child.

He continued by saying that he had been sober for four months at the time and that Jaden Hossler, a former resident of Sway House, had “saved” him by assisting him in “becoming sober.”

Days before he passed away, on June 5, Noriega announced on Instagram that he was starting a Discord server to serve as a place for open discussion of addiction and mental health.

His accounts on TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube are still active and accessible, but nothing has been uploaded since he passed away.
