Additionally, according to an online obituary for Santos’ mother, Fatima Aziza Caruso Horta Devolder, who passed away in 2016, she was born on December 22, 1968, to Paul and Rosalina Devolder in the Rio de Janeiro suburb of NiterĂ³i.

According to The Forward, Santos’ mother’s Facebook profile, which contains a tag for his page, never used the phrases “Jew,” “Jewish,” or expressions like “Israel,” “Yom Kippur,” or “Shabbat.”

Additionally, his income from a venture fund dubbed “Harbor Hill Capital,” which U.S. federal prosecutors closed and confiscated in 2020 as a “Ponzi Scheme,” was only slightly over $50,000 the previous year. Santos served as the “fund’s” New York Director.

Santos now claims that his assets total up to $11 million in a document dated September 6, 2022.

These assets include personal bank accounts worth $1 million and $5 million, a condo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between $500,000 and $1 million, and business interests worth $1 million and $5 million.

Santos claims to be a dual citizen of the U.S. and Brazil and that his parents are from Brazil.
