Israel Adesanya Parents And Family

Adesanya was born on 22 July 1989 to the Father Femi Adesanya and mother Taiwo Adesanya.

Adesanya’s Father was an accountant by profession, and his mother was a nurse. He was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, along with his four siblings.

Adesanya belonged to a well-settled family; while growing up, he had the privilege to participate in any sport of his choice.

He chose Taekwondo and joined the Taekwondo club. Later he was withdrawn from taekwondo class by his mother after he fractured his arm.

Adesanya had primary education at Chrisland School at Opebi, Lagos. He joined Bells Secondary School at Ota in Ogun State for his high school education.

Still, he had to leave it in the middle as the family decided to migrate from Nigeria for better opportunities.

At first, the family stopped in Ghana for ten months weighing options to immigrate between the USA and New Zealand. After the 9/11 attack on Twin tower USA, the family chose to be a safe place and moved to Rotorua city of the north island, New Zealand.

As a child, Adesanya had an interest in martial art and dancing. He regularly participated in dance competitions across the country and choreographed a walkout at UFC 243.

Adesanya is currently single, and he has not been married yet. Though there were rumors about him being in a relationship with a ring girl, they were false.

He was earlier in a relationship with Charlotte Powdrell, which was confirmed after the couple was seen together having fun in a bathtub.
