Pathan Poster Controversy: Similar To American Movie Beast

The poster of Shahrukh Khan’s new movie Pathan was launched on 25 June 2022. It is one of the most anticipated movies of the star as he returns to the screen after four years.

Amid the anticipation, it got into controversy. Many people found it similar to the poster of the American movie Beast, starred by Idris Elba.

Many people commented on how similar the two posters were but couldn’t care less. The argument even reached Reddit. Many people claimed that SRK did it better.

Furthermore, filmmaker and critic Kamal R Khan also commented on the matter via Twitter. Taking out the flaw of the poster, the filmmaker said copy would never improve, and it was stolen.

Not only that, but the renowned critic tweeted again to say if the director, Actor, and producer don’t have the brains together for logical posters, then how cant they make a good film?

He added that this used to be ok in the 90s, but not now. Moreover, the movie has now released a new poster. It hit the internet earlier this month and has only heightened interest.

Pathan Movie’s New Controversy

There have been protests against the movie Pathan since the song “Besharam Rang” was released.

Actress Deepika Padukone performs some daring parts with Shah Rukh Khan in the song while wearing a saffron-colored bikini. Due to this, there is a call for a boycott of “Pathan” and a stoking of the protest Fire.

Hinduist organizations violently protested at two movie theaters in Agra, Shree Talkies and Bhagwan Talkies.

To show their displeasure, Hindu group protestors even tried to set Fire to movie posters, but the Police officer quickly seized effigy from the demonstrators.

Protestor: Saffron Is Not A Color But A Symbol Of Sanatan Dharma

According to protestors, the Actor insulted Shanatan Dharma in Pathan.

The protestors said Sanatan Dharma’s insults would not be accepted under any circumstances. They have threatened not to distribute the movie.

Protest against the film was also seen in Sultanpur. While burning the posters, saints said the movie hurt the Hindu community.

To boycott SRK’s movie, Mahant Jagat Guru Paramhans Das of Tapasvi Cantonment issued an appeal. Additionally, it has been warned to burn the theaters if the film reaches the theatre.

Furthermore, protests against the Pathan film have begun in Lucknow, the state’s capital. Meena Singh, a Karni Sena supporter, stated that the organization would not put up with the insulting of saffron in the movie Pathan.

He also declared that we would not see the movie. Because saffron, a symbol of Sanatan Dharma, is not just a color.
