In the preliminary bout of UFC Vegas 82, Ailín Pérez faced Lucie Pudilová one-on-one. Rounds one and two saw Pérez in command, but the last stanza indicated a problem with the gas tank. 

Pérez, with scores of 29-27, 29-28, and 29-28, prevailed unanimously, thwarting Pudilová’s effort at a comeback.

But Pérez wasn’t content to just have her hand raised. Starring at UFC Vegas 82 are Paul Craig and Brendan Allen.

Rather than partaking in the customary post-fight festivities, Ailín Pérez indulged her sense of humor. Inside the Octagon, she was putting on a full-on twerk celebration.

“Flona” is 2-1 when competing for the UFC and has recently won two straight. Although the 29-year-old still has space for development, Pérez has already improved her pro-MMA record to 9-2.

It’s unclear how far Pérez can push things. She undoubtedly has more attention now than before, thanks to her UFC Vegas 82 post-fight celebration. 

Career Details Of Ailin Perez

In 2018 Perez signed with the UFC after an outstanding four-fight winning streak under the banners of both LFA and Combate Americas. 

She competed in The Ultimate Fighter 28: Heavy Hitters tournament in November 2018 among competitors like Macy Chiasson and Pannie Kianzad. 

Ailin was one of the five finalists for the TUF 28 women’s featherweight division title, which she won by unanimous decision over Germaine de Randamie on December 14, 2019, at the UFC 245 Pay Per View event. 

In addition to earning $50K USD prize money and the title of first female featherweight champion inside the TUF cage, Ailin also won this inaugural title!

Since then, Ailine has continued to compete frequently under the UFC banner.

She most recently faced Jennel Lee, a former flyweight title belt challenger, and Katlyn Chookagian, the top-ranked women’s flyweight contender. 

Ailin performed impressively against highly skilled and experienced opponents, often surpassing the odds, earning her the “Mexican Wonder Woman” nickname from some experts! 

UFC rookie Ailin Perez revealed in a recent interview that she was a dancer before turning her exquisite footwork into a fighting career. Perez is an expert in dancing forms like bachata, salsa, and reggaeton.

The Argentinian recently gained notoriety when she performed a backflip during the UFC Paris weigh-ins before her matchup with Stephanie Egger. 

Perez claims that the dance motion is a means for her to express herself, but it appears that this has been a tradition in her MMA career.
