After the police arrived at the scene, they found Brianna Destiny McKoy, a 23-year-old woman, had been shot and killed inside a unit on Vincellette Street at the Coachlight Square condominium complex.
The victim’s father has shared a post regarding his daughter’s death. In an emotional Instagram live video posted on Friday, Trooper, whose real name is Garfield Mckoy, thanked his fans for the outpouring of respect, love, and condolences that he and his family have been receiving since the tragedy.
Trooper tearfully shared that he never expected to be in such a situation and now understands the pain of those who have gone through similar experiences.

The Bridgeport police have released a statement seeking the public’s assistance in finding Derrick Francis, who is accused of the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Brianna McKoy on Thursday.

The police have described Francis as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the North End of Bridgeport and the Bronx.
