Last year, Kelly Crull had to step back from her job due to her illness and health condition. Taking to her official Twitter account, the American sports commentators disclosed that she had a kidney stone.
Thankfully, it was taken out soon after. In her post, the skilled sportscaster revealed that she was in Cincinnati when she had a medical emergency. She was working for Atlanta Braves at that time.
The Braves’ medical team – Jeff Stevenson and George Poukis -reportedly helped her. According to Kelly, Poukis rushed her to ER, where a medical professional operated to remove the kidney stone.
Crull said she was getting better and expressed her gratitude to the Braves family, medical team, and her family for caring for her.
As for her current health condition, the sports commentator is doing well and is healthy. At least, she has not shared anything about her health issue.
On 26 April, she tweeted, “Back at work with @steve21smith! We’ve got the CarMax PreGame Show on @NBATV – the Nuggets and T-Wolves coming up! I’m doing double duty this week and loving every minute of it! Yes, the Braves are ahead of the Marlins. I got all of the monitors to operate.”

Kelly Crull was born to her parents on 16 February 1984 in Noblesville, Indiana. She went to Noblesville High School. The sports commentator played tennis and basketball during her high school days.
Crull understood by the end of her junior year that she was unlikely to play tennis professionally but still wanted to be active in the sports world. That’s when she decided to pursue her career in sportscasting.
Regarding her education, Kelly received a tennis scholarship and went to the University of Missouri. She majored in broadcast journalism.
The Noblesville native worked for the NBC affiliate in Columbia, KOMU-TV, and Missouri as a part of her undergraduate experience. She also interned at ESPN, the CBS News Bureau in London, and Indianapolis’ WTHR-TV.
