Nitin Desai Was Under Financial Stress
As said earlier, Nitin Desai was under financial stress and it may be the reason for him to attempt suicide. Reportedly, he had trouble returning a ₹ 252-crore loan, and a bankruptcy court had said an insolvency petition against his company last week.
Nitin’s company named ND’s Art World Pvt Ltd borrowed ₹ 185 crores via two loans from ECL Finance in the year 2016 and 2018. Moreover, Desai’s financial troubles started in January 2020.
Due to this, many people are saying that Desai may have committed suicide and taken his own life after going through many hard times in his life.
Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi has also talked about the matter. Baldi reported, “When we met a month ago, he told me that he was under financial stress. Prima Facie this seems like the only reason for his death by suicide.”
