Hilton Hotel Owner Ramon Adedoyin Sentence To Death
Hilton Hotel owner, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin, was found guilty of murdering Timothy Adegoke, a former master’s student at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, by an Osun State High Court on Monday.
Adegoke, who had stayed at Adedoyin’s Hilton Hotel in Ile-Ife, was found dead in November 2021. Roman was arrested shortly after Adegoke’s suspicious death.
On Tuesday, 30 May, Justice Adepele Ojo, the chief judge of Osun State, convicted Adedoyin and two hotel employees in connection to the 2021 death.
In a ruling that lasted more than two hours, the judge declared that the circumstantial evidence in the case indicated that Adedoyin killed Adegoke while he stayed at the hotel.
The judge rejected Adedoyin’s alibi. The businessman claimed he wasn’t at the hotel when Adegoke checked in.
Justice Ojo stated that Adedoyin’s decision not to enter the witness box was fatal to his case because the burden of proof had now been placed on him.
In the end, the judge ruled that the prosecution established the conspiracy and unlawful killing allegations brought against Adedoyin and two of the six workers indicted with him.
Adeniyi Aderogba and Oyetunde Kazeem are the two convicted hotel employees. The judge sentenced them to death by hanging together with Ramon Adedoyin.
Rahmon Adegoke Was Born Into Royal Family
Rahmon Adegoke was born in the ancient city of Ife in Osun State into the royal family of the Akui reigning house on 01 January 1957.
Talking about his educational background, he holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education.
He graduated from Centurion International Univesity with a master’s degree. The businessman went on to receive a doctorate degree from All Saints University School of Medicine.
