According to some reports, the prisoner has been referred to by his alias Thabo Bester, although Thomas Motsepe is his real name.
Thabo Bester was found guilty in 2011 of raping two women after using Facebook to lure them to a hotel. A year later, he was given a term for raping and killing his lover, Nomfundo Tyhulu.
Bester died on May 3, 2022, after a fire broke out in his single cell at around 03.35 a.m., according to the Department of Correctional Services.
But two months after his passing, a man resembling Bester was observed in Sandton’s Woolworth.

Thabo Bester’s real name was found to be Thomas Motsepe.
Thabo Bester was found guilty in 2011 and later found guilty of raping two young women after using Facebook to lure them to a hotel where he was staying. He was given a sentence for raping and killing his girlfriend, Nomfundo Tyhulu, months later.
After being given a life sentence after being found guilty of his crime, Thabo Bester allegedly attempted suicide by setting himself on fire in his cell in May 2021.
The Department of Corrections stated on May 3, 2022, that Bester had passed away following a fire that started in his detention cell at around 03.35 am.
Surprisingly, two months after his claimed demise, a person who looked exactly like Bester was seen shopping with a famous female doctor in a Woolworth in Sandton City.

Thabo Bester Brother- Family Tree
Thabo Bester doesn’t appear to have any siblings as of 2023. However, his mother, Maria Mabaso, made the shocking allegation that he was born through rape, which sparked discussion regarding Bester’s paternity on social media.
Maria confessed that she had been raped by the man who was the father of Bester in an interview with EWN. She continued by saying that she would have placed him for adoption if she had known what was ahead.
Maria revealed that Bester had been proposed for adoption by some Lens (Lenasia) Indians, but she had declined.
The identity of Thabo Bester’s father has been the subject of conspiracy theories on Twitter. One Twitter user even speculated that he might be related to Ananias Mathe, a legendary serial rapist who, like Bester, managed to escape from prison.
Bester is a native of Johannesburg, Gauteng, in South Africa. Thabo Bester was reared by his grandmother and spent his childhood living with her.
Thabo Bester Is Dating Dr Nandi Mogudumana.
Thabo Bester’s most recent girlfriend, Dr. Nandipha Mogudumana, is a verified aesthetic physician. The socialite and celebrity doctor is generally referred to as Dr. Nandi.
She was the first woman to see Thabo and her while they were out shopping in a mall. Numerous others thought she was dating the Facebook rapist.
Furthermore, even though she is married, Dr. Nandi was the one who claimed his body after arranging his death, claiming that she was his wife.
Everyone was taken aback when she and he were unexpectedly spotted shopping at Woolworths with the deceased last year.
