Akbar has lost a significant amount of weight since making her reality TV debut and has been open about having weight loss surgery.
Akbar V underwent gastric sleeve surgery, which reduces stomach size and “reduces your appetite resulting in the shedding of pounds,” according to Hello Beautiful.
After a period of quietness, Akbar chose to have a second cosmetic procedure with Dr. Curves, an Atlanta plastic surgeon, at the end of last year.
Later, Akbar posted details about her recuperation after cosmetic surgery on Instagram, but those postings have since been removed.

In addition to calling her “a good kid,” “small,” and “funny,” among other things, Akbar V said that her daughter Dora was battling for her life in the hospital and that she did not deserve what she was going through.
