DJ Sumbody, whose real name is Oupa John Sefoka, was a renowned South African DJ, music artist, radio personality, and entrepreneur.
He rose to fame after releasing hit songs Monate Mpolaye, featuring Cassper Nyovest and Thebe, and Ayepyep, featuring DJ Tira, Thebe, and Emza.

The statement mentions that he died in an unfortunate incident in the early morning of Sunday, November 20. However, it stated that further details could not be released due to the ongoing investigation.
The management and family of Oupa have asked for privacy at this challenging time and mentioned that they would give details about the Funeral and Memorial Service soon.
Fans have been left shocked, given that the music artist was highly active and posted on Instagram only a few hours ago. They have been leaving messages of shock and despair all over social media.
Many still do not believe the news and await confirmation from his family, while others pray that the information is somehow false.
