During the pre-production of Alone in the Dark for the PC and Xbox 360, Morel worked as a level and game designer at Eden Games.
In the late 1990s, Emile worked as one of Eden Games’ senior game designers and contributed to the creation of Test Drive Unlimited and Alone in the Dark: Inferno, the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
The talented designer worked on Rayman Legends and Rayman Fiesta Run for Ubisoft after joining the company in 2009.
He became the game’s creative director after Jean-Marc Geffroy left; on the project, which has now been in development for more than 15 years, he had previously held the position of associate creative director.

“I’ll miss our inside jokes and impersonations. You will be missed beyond Good and Evil. Be assured, we will continue your work,” Hermittant stated.
