Islamia University is located in Bahawalpur, and everyone has been asking about the scandal. Due to some news, the university has been dragged into the controversy.
As stated earlier, more than 5000 videos of girls from Islamia University have been shared on adult sites. Dr Abuzar, Chief Security Officer Syed Ejaz Shah and Transport Officer Altaf are linked with this matter.
From Ejaz’s phone, police reportedly recovered as many as 5500 nude videos of the University students. It was recovered from two mobile phones.
It has been said that girl students from the university were forced to make their own videos and send them to get marks in exams. Police have reported that the whole group of teachers was involved in drug peddling and sexual harassment of girls.
Islamia University Bahawalpur Case Update
According to the recent update related to Islamia Univeristy, Transport Officer Altaf and Dr. Abuzar, Chief Security Officer Syed Ejaz Shah, have been detained.
The administration of the institute states that all this is being done under a conspiracy against the university students. Police recovered not only videos from Ejaz’s phone but also eight gum ice drugs.
Reportedly, there are around 113 such students in the university who have become addicted to drugs. Police say that their prey is not the university but the drug smugglers.
Police have released a statement and have also said that those who were arrested have been booked under Section 9(2)1 of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997.
