Is Joe Rogan Trans Activist? Talks About Sexuality And Gender

Surrounded by many controversies, Joe Rogan remains one of the top podcasters with his program The Joe Rogan Experience. But after many problematic takes on the LGBTQ+ community, is Joe Rogan a trans activist?

Joseph James Rogan, born on August 11, 1967, is an American podcaster, comedian, and former T.V. presenter.

Joe was born in New Jersey and began his career in comedy in 1988 in the Boston area.

Currently, he hosts  The Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast in which he discusses current events, comedy, politics, and martial arts with various guests.

By 2015, Joe’s podcast was one of the most popular in the world, receiving millions of plays per episode.

However, since COVID-19, the podcast, along with Joe, has received criticism for spreading misinformation about the pandemic.

Joe Rogan is not a new name in the world of controversies as he bluntly passes comments regarding wide subject matters.

With recent comments made by the public figure, people wonder whether he is a trans activist.

Joe Rogan Trans Activist: Is It Really True?

From spreading misinformation about vaccines to the use of the N-word, Joe Rogan can’t seem to get out of trouble.

Among many direct statements, his target was Fallon Fox, a transgender female fighter in MMA.

The fighter was accused of having unfair competition against her cisgender competitors.

Further, Joe commented about Fallon in his podcast that,

She calls herself a woman but I tend to disagree. She used to be a man but now she’s transgender.

After facing backlash, the comedian believed that his comments were taken out of context. However, Fallon stated that Joe should research before speaking.

What’s more, this was not the only time Joe said something against trans athletes.

In one of his podcasts, he claimed trans swimmer Lia Thomas’s participation is an ‘assault on women’s sport.’

Joe also added comments on her appearance, saying that Lia looks like a man, but it cannot be said out loud anymore.

Moreover, Joe has a record of misgendering people, including United States Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine.

Besides these comments, Joe, along with Jordan Peterson, linked trans people to the collapse of civilization.

Further, he also asserted that trans women use male tactics and behaviors as they invade female spaces.

In another episode of the podcast, Joe, along with Matt Walsh, compared being trans to being in a cult and having a mental health issue.

All these claims made by Joe do not frame him as a trans activist. Rather, people tend to perceive him as a threat to the community.

Talks About Sexuality And Gender: Joe Rogan Podcast

With over 190 million downloads each month, Joe Rogan’s podcast has a huge fanbase.

Despite its popularity, netizens believe Joe has used the platform to promote conspiracy theories and misinformation.

In 2022, streaming platform Spotify removed over 42 episodes of the podcast due to the use of racially insensitive language.

Further, Joe and the guests who appear on the show talk about sensitive topics like sexuality and gender.

In many instances, he has used and defended the use of anti-LGBTQ slurs.

Of course, Joe always makes sure to apologize but does not seem to stop with his wild takes.

In one of the apologies after using a slur, Joe wrote,

I enjoy the word immensely, although did not intent for its interpretation as a negative term for homosexual people.

Moreover, Joe claimed that because trans and gay people are bullied, they are champions of cancel culture.

Along with such claims, Joe has also drawn backlash for his antisemitic remarks using his massive platform.

With such a large influence and following, Joe’s words can be a threat to many communities.

Many outrages have resulted from Joe’s actions, but he does not seem to bat an eye on such criticisms.

  1. Joe Rogan is simply saying how he feels about men, playing in sports. He is right. You all know this. We simply are dealing with a disturbed group. We need to get them help. They just do not know it.
Open a transgender mental institute, and put them there to get the help they need.
They have been misplaced in life, by family issues, or by bullies in their school years. This is a mental issue to deal with quickly.
Men in women’s sports. I take it that’s the only way they can win. The real reason is they can’t be a woman, so this is their mental way of dealing with it. It’s violent.
