Kaylee Goncalves’s parents, Steve And Kristi Goncalves revealed how their daughter was supposed to be with them for the holidays but returned to college to brag about her new car to her friends.
One of the four University of Idaho students brutally murdered on November 13 was Kaylee Goncalves, who told others that she “may have had a stalker” before she was killed. However, Police said on Wednesday that they could not confirm that information.
On Wednesday, Captain Roger Lanier of the Moscow Police informed the media that they had learned from some of their interviews that Kaylee had mentioned a stalker.
They also disclosed that they had investigated the information further by looking at specific periods and areas of the town. To date, they have been unable to corroborate it, but they have not given up on the matter.

He said that law enforcement had warned him not to anticipate the same level of communication he had previously received and that they would be tapering off a bit. Goncalves informed Jones that they had last spoken to him at 5 pm on Wednesday.
He added that he was frustrated because he has always been very trustworthy. After all, they could only tell him a limited amount of information.

Goncalves declined to criticize law enforcement because they are “hardworking individuals,” adding that he would be “doomed” without them when asked if he had any new information or insight on the case.

Despite spending the holidays with her family, Kaylee Goncalves returned to college to show off her new car to her friends.
Kaylee’s mother claimed that although her daughter had spent time at home in the days before the incident, she had decided to spend a few nights back in Moscow before returning home permanently for the holidays.
According to Kaylee’s mother, Kristi Goncalves, who spoke to Fox 28 Spokane, Kaylee debated whether or not to return to Moscow all day before deciding to do so because she wanted to show off the new car she had bought on her own.
Her parents observed how much she had to be happy about, and their daughter even promised to treat them when she got home with her own money.
When Kristi called Kaylee around 2:30 on Saturday afternoon, she told her that Kaylee had a good time on Friday night.
