Madison Brooks, a 19-year-old LSU student, passed away on January 15, 2023, after being hit by a car following an alleged sexual assault.

Four people have been suspected and arrested following the murder and assault case of an LSU student.

Madison Brooks’s body got found in the early morning of January 15, 2023, when she was fatally struck by a car near her Baton Rouge, Louisiana, campus.
After a medical examination, it was mentioned that she was allegedly raped and was intoxicated shortly before being attacked.
Brooks gave her heart and kidneys to be donated, as stated by the sorority in the past.
The obituary says, “She enjoyed adventures and travel, including sky-diving, skiing, experiencing new cities, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.”
It added, “Madison’s heart was pure, her laugh infectious, and she lived every day to the fullest. Her legacy will forever shine in the stars above.”
Along with another obituary, LSU President William Tate released a statement following the death of a fantastic student.
He said, ‘Madison was a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a niece, a classmate, and a friend to many of you. By all accounts, she was an incredible young woman with limitless potential.

Kaivon Washington Arrested & Charged in Rape Case
Following the death of Madison, Police department revealed that four of them had been suspected of the charge with rape and murder case.
Among four of the Kaivon, Washington is one of them; he has been arrested and charged with third-degree rape.
Washington revealed the truth; he said that he and another teen had intercourse with Brooks in the back seat of a car while the other two were in the vehicle’s front seat.
Washington admitted that he and his three friends drank at the bar before leaving with Brooks, who was very unstable on her feet before leaving the place.
Later, the report confirmed that Brooks had a blood alcohol level of .319 percent before her death.
Along with Washington, 18, Casen Carver, 18, Everett Lee, 28, and Desmond Carter, 17, were charged with principal to third-degree rape.
The four individuals have been charged with third-degree rape, but the driver responsible for the victim’s death has not been located yet, and authorities are still trying to track him down.
Washington’s family has been fighting for justice, her Father, Scott, and her mother, Ashley, have been cooperating with Police and has been following the recent update.
The victim was their oldest child, and she had two younger brothers, Brady and Aiden.
