According to reports, a group of unknown gunmen were behind a bomb explosion, which took away the life of the terrorist.

Moreover, the bomb detonated close to his car’s right door to the cabin.

However, there is no factual evidence that Masood Azhar has been killed, as the official media has not confirmed the news.

The unconfirmed news surfaced online on January 1, 2024, where Twitter users commented on the state of Masood.

Similarly, the claims were accompanied by an image of Masood in a hospital bed.

However, the images belonged to a firing incident in the Barkambakhel area of the Khyber tribal district.

Many accounts have been multiplying similar false and fabricated stories for the last few months.

Likewise, this isn’t the first time Masood has been the target of death hoaxes and false rumors.

Previously, news was buzzing on Twitter that the Indian air strike killed the Jaish-e-Mohammed chief.

Moreover, no authoritative confirmation has been provided for the bombardment conducted in the terror camp in Balakot.

Additionally, Yousuf Azhar, the brother-in-law of the radical Islamist leader, was running the location.

Masood Azhar’s Whereabouts: Where Is The Jaish-e-Mohammed Leader Now?

For years, debates have uprisen regarding the whereabouts of the radical Islamist terrorist.

Azhar was one of the terrorists freed by India in exchange for passengers of a hijacked plane of Indian Airlines in 1999.

Since his release, he oversaw several terror attacks, including some targeting India.

Earlier in 2023, reports claimed that the internationally listed terrorist was under the protective custody of Pakistan.

The leader who orchestrated the Parliament attack in Delhi, Masood, allegedly enjoys the security.
