Harry Redknapp Feared For Sandra Life As She Struggled After Her Battle With Covid

Redknapp, the formal player, reveals that he feared when Sandra had a severe attack of Covid, which left her barely able to breathe and attacked her advanced problems with vocal cords.

Fortunately, she is on the mend, and national treasure James Redknapp is fighting fit too. But it wasn’t easy for her to handle all of these problems.

The former football manager says his wife could not talk and had to communicate with people by writing notes, as well as having a problem swallowing which he feared the most.

Moreover, Harry’s wife, Sandra, said the virus “attacked previous surgery” on her neck, leaving her with several serious problems.

Correspondingly, she had to undergo multiple surgeries to bring about a recovery, with some of them leaving her unable to talk for several days.

After the attack of COVID-19, things got so bad for Sandra that Harry worried that she would choke to death due to difficulty swallowing, with the mother-of-two forced to write notes to communicate.

Furthermore, Sandra said, “You don’t realize what your vocal cords do until they’re not working because it affects breathing and talking. My voice would vibrate and be very weak. The shortness of breath was very difficult.”

Moreover, she told how she had lots of tests before going on to have two times of surgery, with the grandmother ‘struggling’ for six to seven months, and still to this day feels tenderness as she speaks.

Besides, she fell ill with sepsis in 2017, and in May 2018, she suffered another relapse. Also, it was so profound that Redknapp considered dropping out of the jungle until she recovered.

Harry said, “Sandra has been ill with sepsis, and it’s knocked her for six. It was only five weeks ago. She was in and out of the hospital but wanted to come to Australia.”

The former football manager, Harry, and Sandra have been married for an awe-inspiring 55 years, having tied knots in 1967.

In Addition, Sandra is the mother of two sons, Mark and Jamie Redknapp. Jamie played under his Father, Harry, at Bournemouth and Southampton.
