Wallasey Pub Shooting Suspect

Police are hunting the gunman who killed a woman and injured four others in a Wallasey pub shooting.

The Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village was busy at the time of the incident on Christmas Eve.

Some who were present on the night tried to help and administer CPR to the victims.

Speaking about the appalling incident, Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs said, “No family should have to be faced with this ordeal at any time but at Christmas.”

She also shared that their specially trained family liaison officers supported the family at the tragic time and assured that the authorities were determined to find those responsible.

Coombs mentioned that the investigation was still in the early stages.

She stated they were trying to establish a suspect, motive, and circumstances surrounding the “callous and cold-blooded shooting.”

Detective Superintendent assured people not to rest until the people responsible for the shooting were found.

She also appealed to anyone with information or any significant footage on their dashcam, doorbell camera, or cell phone to contact the authorities.
