Ntokozo Mayenzi Xaba became a trending topic on the internet after allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend on February 2, 2023. The student was found dead with stab wounds on the neck.
As per University records, Xaba was a third-year TUT student and resided at the University’s Ekhaya Junction residence in Pretoria.

According to sources, Ntokozo Mayenzi Boyfriend, Ngcebo Thusi, was allegedly murdered in her residence at the Tshwane University of Technology.
After Xaba was stabbed at the campus residence, her boyfriend man was taken into custody for interrogation by Police after a Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) student.
Police records show the victim was drinking with friends, including her ex-boyfriend, on Wednesday, February 1. Colonel Dimakatso Sello claims her friends reportedly left the two together that night.
The victim’s college, TUT, conveyed its condolences to the student’s family and friends while condemning gender-based violence.

Xaba’sboyfriend, Ngcebo Thusi, was a rugby champion player representing the Blue Bulls Rugby Union.

Thusi became the prime suspect after the woman opened up about Xaba and the suspect’s two-year relationship, which reportedly ended last year, revealing that it became abusive towards the end.
Ngecebo was a former TUT rugby coach and an administrator involved with the University’s rugby program on condition of anonymity.

According to news 24, Colonel Dimakatso Sello revealed the prime suspect was in custody and interrogated by Police.
The warden of Ekhaya Junction Management, where the murder allegedly happened, released a statement saying they knew that Xaba’s friends could not hold her on her cell phone.
Following her death, authorities released a statement; the residence management and paramedics rushed her to medical and found Xaba unresponsive in her room.
Shockingly, Xaba’s sister explained that her sister and Thusi had difficulties in their relationship. The rugby player abused Ntokozo physically, and she reported him to the Police.
