He joined the Song State Theater, an Armenian musical group performing traditional and modern tunes. 

In 1999, he released his first single, Arevik, which became a hit track in the country.

Further, he released his debut album Nerir, which peaked on the Armenian music charts and won him multiple awards. 

Since then, he never looked back and released other successful albums and singles in the 2000s and 2010s. 

A few of Ara’s other popular tracks include Hayastan, Siro Ashun, Du Es, Yes U Do, Imn Es, and many more.

The iconic vocalist, Ara Martirosyan, passed away at 46 on December 14, 2023.

Ara reportedly suffered from cardiac arrest before rushing to the hospital, where the doctor found him unresponsive before passing away.

A fellow singer, Lilit Galstyan’s manager, confirmed Ara’s death on the same day.

Further, his family held the funeral on December 18, 2023, at the St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church and laid him to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills.

Nevertheless, his untimely demise has led to support from fans globally through different social media platforms.
