Jordan Peterson Daughter Illness: What Happened To Mikhaila Peterson?
Jordan Peterson’s daughter, Mikhaila Peterson, was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRC) when she was only seven years old. The Canadian psychologist’s child claimed that her symptoms began exhibiting when she was two.
She was given an SSRI prescription at age 12 after being diagnosed with severe depression (later bipolar type 2). As a result of JRC diagnosis, she required a hip and ankle replacement at 17 years old.
Mikhaila had numerous other grueling procedures while she was a teenager, which caused her to become dependent on Oxycontin briefly.
Her mom introduced her to a naturopath when she was 23, two years after she began experiencing symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome. Afterward, Jordan’s daughter started to pay attention to what she consumes.
When Mikahila eliminated processed foods, dairy, legumes, eggs, nuts, seeds, and legumes from her diet, she reduced her diet to meat and fish, along with some greens and some root vegetables like parsnips and sweet potatoes, according to her post on her blog.
After three months, her melancholy subsided, and a persistent rash finally went away, so she decided to stop taking the antidepressants, which made her life miserable.
Shortly after, she concluded that the food that did not aggravate her arthritis was meat. Therefore, she started eating just meat. She felt better after five months but had cravings, cramps, and diarrhea. Still, Mikhaila thought it was much easy than the arthritic discomfort.
Mr. Peterson’s daughter refers to her diet as “the lion diet.”

She currently hosts The Mikhaila Peterson Podcast, where she talks to “people with different viewpoints on contentious issues to allow the audience to see both sides.”
Also, Mikahila participates in and highly supports the lion diet, which she adopted after being chronically ill for over two decades, followed by two more years of withdrawal from antidepressants.
Talking about her current health condition, the media commentator’s daughter shared some information while celebrating her 5th anniversary as a carnivore in December 2022.
She said she consumed only beef, lamb, and bison for the last sixty months. In addition, she doesn’t take any medications and has no arthritic symptoms.
