In an interview he had with HuffPost in 2012, “Homosexuality was well known in the ancient world, well before Christ was born, and Jesus never said a word about homosexuality” Carter stated.

Born on October 1st, 1924, Jimmy Carter came from a poor background in Plains, Georgia, where humble beginnings characterized his life till adulthood.
His father, Earl Carter, worked as a peanut warehouser and former state legislator.
Furthermore, his mother, Lillian Gordy Carter, served as a registered nurse.
