When Keisha Morris was just 20 years old and a college student in 1974, she first encountered Tupac Shakur. Tupac, though, was dealing with his sexual assault case.
During the first meeting, a brief encounter occurred at the Capitoline New York club, formerly known as Chippendale’s club.
They briefly conversed while dancing, but she exited the club before them. They crossed paths at the Tunnel a month later, where Tupac recalled their chat and her.
Shakur wanted to take her out, but Keisha was initially dubious. But he gave her his phone number, and they planned to meet later. The two began dating after their second encounter.
Tupac’s imprisonment during his sexual assault conviction ended their on-the-rise romance. The rapper was sentenced to prison.
